"Visceral" (process)

(Large-scale, fully-planned projects) Oil painting and thread,31.5inchx23.5inch (20/04/23) Final outcome for my BTEC, Unit 1, "Visceral." Fully-planned project, external exam unit. I really pushed myself in terms of the subject matter and medium, using a reference photo of a male body and pushing proportion and stylisation. Each figure represents a different fear response, from left to right - fight, flight, freeze, represented by poses and colour palette.
